Dr. Micah J Thomason is a lifetime resident of Arkansas. He graduated with honors from Springdale High School in 1995 and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas and the University of Memphis, TN graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. He graduated from the Southern College of Optometry of Memphis in 2009.
While at the Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Thomason served as an officer in the Arkansas Student Optometric Association. He was named to the Who’s Who of American Colleges and Universities. While attending optometry school, Dr. Thomason interned at West Tennessee Eye and Olive Branch Eyecare. Upon graduation, Dr. Thomason founded Advanced Family Eye Care in Springdale.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Arkansas Optometric Association and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Dr. Thomason and his wife Amy were married in 2001 and have three children: Kate, Hank, and Huck. In his spare time, Dr. Thomason enjoys gardening, golfing, hunting, spending time with his kids, and calling the Hogs. He and his family are active members of Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell.
Dr. Kelli Schaedel is a native of Big Spring, Texas. She received her Biology degree from Angelo State University. In 2023, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK. When not in the office, Dr. Schaedel enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, watching football and listening to music.
Dr. Schaedel is passionate about the overall well-being of her patients and enjoys developing life-long relationships. She specializes in primary eye care, ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and pre- and post-operative eyecare.
